Eleanor Schutte practices primarily in the area of construction law where she litigates construction disputes. She prepares and files liens and privileges pursuant to the Private Works Act and Public Works Act and prepares and reviews both commercial and residential construction contracts.
Ms. Schutte also litigates succession and estate disputes, will contests and reimbursements. She also prepares wills and succession documents.
Ms. Schutte graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and served on the Public Interest Journal during her time in law school. She worked as an extern for the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and served as a law clerk for Judge Ellen Hazeur in the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans.
